We have been experiencing some delays over here with the blog. I have been overwhelmed with the work-life balance. However, we are going to start slow and begin with this EPIC engagement session split between Asheville, North Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina. I encourage my couples to select locations that are a part of their story. Something that has meaning to them. This led to a weekend full of adventure for all three of us.
A little bit about Haley and Taylor:
How did they meet?
Haley: Swim Practice! I was on a rival team and joined his, so I met him on my first day practicing with the new team. I thought he was a jerk and his joking was mean!
What was your first date:
Haley: We don’t have an official date when we started dating or an actual date we went on! We were best friends before we started officially being a couple so it was just a transition from flirty friends to romantic!
How did he propose?
On Father’s Day weekend as a disguise! We traveled from Charlotte to Albany where we have a small family “farm.” It is my favorite place and had some of my family present. He started giving a speech, which he would never do, and then asked me to join him. Then I knew what was happening and put down my wine glass all the while being barefoot on the hot June day.
Haley and Taylor will say I do at the Shackleford House in Albany, Georgia in November. So lucky to have met these two very special people and honored to be called their photographer!
