Small little excerpt from me here: IT IS SOOOOOO GOOOD TO HAVE MY COMPUTER RUNNING AGAIN! YES!
Anyhow, now on to Lindsey and Cecil’s much awaited for engagement session. I won’t type too much about how sweet these two are but they are such a wonderful couple. Cecil is working towards being a pastor and Lindsey is actually my niece’s dance teacher. She is currently earning her degree in childhood education.
We met up at Chehaw Park in Albany Georgia for a little engagement fun. I always tell everyone the first fifteen minutes or so is the most awkward part of the engagement session experience. Mostly because you don’t naturally rest your nose on someone or touch your foreheads together. These two had no problems mastering any of it. They were so natural in front of the camera!
About midway through the session, things got a little weird with mother nature. She started threatening our gorgeous day with some rain. I should have known something was up because right before the session the lighting was amazing. Now why is that weird? Because, IT NEVER FAILS, that right before the rain is the most gorgeous lighting ever. If you watch the weather like I do the day before it rains has the most beautiful sunshine and blue skies. You just immediately know what will follow. And it did. We barely made it through the first 30 minutes of a the session, before I had to kick everything into high gear. Things did hold out long enough for some really cute portraits on the deserted playground. These are definitely some of my new favorites and I am so excited to share with you all.
Lindsey + Cecil thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your story. Can’t wait for your Christmas wedding in December!
