Meaghan and Michael are some of the coolest, down to earth and most genuine people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Meaghan contacted me about doing their session at Mark’s Melon Patch in Sasser, Georgia. I love that place. It always has the best light for glowy, romantic photos. Meaghan wanted pumpkins, corn and all the things that reminded her of the time she spent there with Michael and her family. Mark’s is a special place for them and they often stop on their travels between Georgia and Florida. While shooting I made sure to include all the fall things like pumpkins, hay, peach ice cream, old houses, sunsets and corn fields in the session. ANNNND let’s talk about that engagement ring. PEOPLE! I was smitten with it! It is stunning in every way. My birthstone is sapphire and I love how original it was. I might have tried to keep it, but ultimately I knew Meaghan would miss it more, so I did give it back. 🙂
In case you don’t know I love proposal stories. They got engaged on a family vacation in the Florida Keys this past June. Michael and Meaghan spent the day in Key West which started at the butterfly garden and ended with Michael proposing on a sailboat as they watched the sun set. These two have been together and went through a lot to get to this season of life. Nearly 7 years later they are finally here and preparing to spend the rest of their lives together. I loves how he loves her and her him. I have been the luckiest photographer with some of the most amazing grooms to be. They just know how to love on their lady and feel confident showing it. I totally believe #SRPcouples are the best there is!
